This policy explains what personal data Korrekt Tech collects through this website, why we collect it, how we look after it, and the rights you have. We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

1. Who we are

Korrekt Tech is a software quality assurance company based in Lagos, Nigeria. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at ridwan@korrekttech.com.

2. What we collect

• Details you send us through the contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), company name (optional), the service you are interested in, and your message.
• Technical information recorded automatically when you use the site: your IP address and browser details (user agent), kept in our session records and security logs.
• Cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work — a session cookie and a security (CSRF) token that protects forms against misuse. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
• Your browser's local storage remembers if you close the announcement bar, so it isn't shown to you again. This stays on your device.

3. How we use it

• To reply to your inquiry and discuss the testing or training you are interested in.
• To prepare proposals, quotations, and agreements if you choose to work with us.
• To keep the website secure and to detect and prevent misuse.

We rely on your consent when you choose to contact us, on taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your permission.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only where needed to run this website and respond to you:

• Our hosting and email providers, who store the website's data and deliver our email on our behalf.
• Content delivery networks that serve the site's fonts, scripts, and images (such as Google Fonts and Fontshare). These receive your IP address when your browser loads those files.
• Authorities, where the law requires us to.

Some of these providers may process data outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we take steps to make sure your data stays adequately protected, as the Act requires.

5. Client systems and test data

When we test your software we work in test or staging environments wherever possible, use only the access we need, and handle any personal data we encounter under the confidentiality terms agreed with you before work starts.

6. How long we keep it

We keep inquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and, if we work together, for the length of our working relationship and any period the law requires afterwards. Session records expire automatically. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time (see below).

7. How we protect it

Access to inquiries is limited to authorised staff with individual accounts and role-based permissions; actions in our admin system are recorded in an activity log; and the site uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections when it is live. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and will act promptly if something goes wrong.

8. Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data deleted;
• object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before.
